A scenography by Studio Biehler-Graveleine

During a dreamlike and timeless stroll conceived and staged by Studio Biehler-Graveleinevisitors are invited to get lost in the sequence of seventeen rooms, some of them reaching up to eight metres in height. Studio Biehler-Graveleine has imagined a harmonious dialogue between Féau Boiseries’ rich archives, the artisanal pieces from the resident Maisons d’art  at 19M, and the contemporary furniture from Invisible Collection.

Here, a sofa signed by Charles Zana paired with an MTX mirror, over there, a majestic chandelier by Goossens coexists with a woodwork by Jean-Michel Frank; further along, a Napoleon bust from Féau stands alongside an embroidered armchair, the result of a collaboration between Lesage Intérieurs, Biehler and Graveleine, and Jouffre.

Elective Affinities: Les Maisons d’art and Invisible Collection

The support and promotion of unique craftsmanship are at the heart of the collaboration between Invisible Collection and Les Maisons d’art of   19M. Since its opening, Invisible Collection’s flagship in New York on the Upper East Side has welcomed the four 19M houses dedicated to decoration, presenting them to architects and private clients eager to discover their  unparalleled expertise. This Parisian exhibition in the enchanting salons of Féau Boiseries, where Invisible Collection regularly presents its collections of contemporary furniture, strengthens the bonds of friendship between these houses that radiate a certain idea of French chic and the tradition of decorative arts worldwide.

Architectural Embroidery by Studio MTX

As a decorative extension of the historic Montex house, Studio MTX wasfounded in 2013 andhas been developing semi-custom embroidered panel collections for the past three years, some of which are on display at Féau Boiseries in various colours. During Paris Design Week, Studio MTX also showcases its expertise on large mirrors. On the circular model, the surface is digitally milled before being embroidered with cotton cords onto which metal tubes are slipped. On the panoramic shape hanging on a wood sheet with enveloping ends, the cotton cords are stretched between wooden crosspieces that emphasise the mirror. As a preview of a lighting collection to be launched in 2024, La Maison d’art presents a series of luminous experiments using fragments from its iconic Alpha Centauri discoball, a unique piece exhibited for the first time in the New York gallery of Invisible Collection.
