Nosqua explores, innovates and plays with the opacity and transparency of glass to create abstract patterns. Thanks to their mastery of various techniques such as fusing, engraving, sandblasting, and thermocollage, Manon and Gauthier bring refined details and finishes to their works. This multidisciplinary approach imparts true visual richness and artistic depth to their creations.
Dreamlike surfaces born from the recycling of glass scraps.
The creative duo is committed to recycling their glass scraps and their dedication and ingenuity have given rise to what they call “atmospheric surfaces.” These surfaces came about unexpectedly: after randomly placing glass scraps in a mold and baking them, Manon and Gauthier were enchanted by the result and embarked on successful experiments.
The sandblasting and arrangement of the scraps reveal a Nordic landscape within the thickness of the glass. Desert expanses, frozen mountains, frosted lace… these poetic surfaces enhance a space. In addition to their expertise, which they offer to interior architects and designers for custom creations, Manon and Gauthier produce limited series pieces that primarily take the form of glass walls, lighting fixtures, and furniture. They create intriguing pieces that invite users to interact with them and can be admired from various angles.

With mastery of a wide range of techniques and a penchant for taking on challenges, Nosqua enjoys designing custom pieces in collaboration with interior decorators and designers. Nosqua collaborates with interior architects and design professionals both in France and internationally.
